Glass that's resistant To thermal stress

Heat strengthened glass is designed to give some of the characteristics of toughened glass e.g., a proportion of the increased strength.

This type of glass is approximately 1.5 times stronger than annealed glass. Its thermal resistance is excellent too, being twice as resistant to thermal stress and shock than annealed glass. Heat strengthened glass retains the fracture characteristics of annealed glass.
