When double glazing first took the UK by storm 30 years ago you could see a plethora of lovely period properties having their often 200-300 year old timber windows replaced with white plastic casements, obviously getting the benefit of insulation, low maintenance etc. but losing the beautiful period look.

Identifying a need to right this wrong Quickslide was formed, and begin offering the same period look but with modern benefits of PVCu. The first sliding sash windows were a little primitive but the focus of the company has been constant innovation and during the last 15 years made huge progress in system and product evolution.

During these times we have also grown our people, systems and process and currently employ over 150 skilled tradesmen and undertake a whole process of not just manufacturing Sliding Sash Windows but also Casement Windows, Bi-folding Doors with glass, foiling and painting processes all taking place in house at our state of the art factory.

To encourage enterprise and keep our business at the forefront of the industry Quickslide formed an academy and has proudly been recognised for our initiatives by winning many regional and national awards for example Window of the Year, Fabricator of the Year, Business of the Year and Training Initiative of the year.

This enterprise is only pushing forward with constant investment in pioneering processes to ensure we provide exceptional levels of service with an absolute focus on value for money.
