In the contribution towards a sustainable built environment, the new DENSBAK F Range has emerged as one of the most technologically advanced flexible sound barrier materials available today. It has been specifically developed to be free from traditional vinyl, bitumen, lead and unrefined aromatic oils. DENSBAK F is non-staining and low tack which makes it the ideal building element for a wide range of construction applications, including flooring underlay's, roofing membranes, piping and ducting applications and stud partitions.

DENSBAK Barium Loaded Vinyl is widely specified for industrial piping applications in the oil gas markets. DENSBAK Vinyl range complies with Shell DEP specifications for Class C Acoustic Insulation and also provides a safe and economical alternative to traditional lead.

Polymeric barriers reinforced with Jute are commonly used in sandwich constructions between boards. These are typically plywood flooring systems with applications in buses, boats and commercial vehicles. Other applications include flexible fan connectors, jackets or pipe wraps or free hanging acoustic curtains. The addition of a top coat can enhance surface appearance coupled with various scrims or films which improve adhesion and/or act as a separating layer in moulding applications.
