In commercial environments subjected to daily cleaning regimes and water, an adequate drainage systems is required to accommodate all of the waste an remove it from the area.

In most cases, a lightweight drainage system is chosen that has an appropriate flow rate and a drain cover, which can be removed with ease.

This allows the operative to remove and dispose of any waste build up appropriately preventing system blockages and bad smells.

Aspen Stainless manufacture and install complete stainless steel drainage systems which do exactly that. Stainless steel is known for its use in wet conditions because it does not corrode, rust or stain.

Each system is very durable and can be designed for light pedestrian traffic and heavy duty vehicular traffic.

In showers, wet rooms and changing facilities, drainage needs to cater for bare foot pedestrian traffic. Therefore, a drain cover should have drainage holes or slots that are small enough to prevent snagging of toes and tripping.

In addition, the drain cover should have excellent durability to withstand a constant foot fall without any chance of warping and denting its profile.

In kitchens, store rooms and warehouses, drainage needs to cater for heavy traffic such as trolleys, fork lifts and other vehicular traffic. Therefore, a drainage system needs to have a robust construction with an anti-slip surface or serrated edge to increase safety under foot and prevent tyre tread from slipping.

With strict demands for hygiene in many commercial environments, Aspen has the ability to provide a tailored product package to meet your specialist requirements using its range of drainage, wall kerbing, and protection.
