The Wandlite Company debuted its brand new product – the Wandlite tube – at LuxLive last week with great success and interest, managing director Jonathan Evitt has announced.
Wandlite is a brand new concept in LED tube lighting. Designed to be visually attractive, a far cry from the utilitarian design of tube lights and standard LED’s.
The spirally-wound LED tape gives a new visual slant to this type of product and the semi-translucent end fittings means the whole light glows from end to end. There’s also the option of having coloured end fittings and accessories to brand the product or just to add colour.
But it’s not just a pretty light, it measures 1700 lumens and is waterproofed to iP65 making it the most versatile 360 degree, 12v tube light on the market today. Visitors were wowed by the sheer number of different applications that the Wandlite tube can be used for including off-grid, outdoor and emergency lighting.
The light itself is virtually unbreakable and is British designed and made with a worldwide patent protection. Applications include exhibition and display signage, leisure, boating, caravanning, agriculture, equine, marine, back up and emergency situations and developing countries.
Evitt comments; “I’m delighted with the feedback we’ve had from the visitors at LuxLive. Wandlite is a revolutionary new LED tube light and it certainly created a great buzz at the show. The people we were talking to were there to see a whole range of different LED products for different usages.
