The World Spa and Wellness Awards have always recognised the passion, care and excellence that spas and their owners have put into their businesses and in return given these spas the recognition they deserve. These awards have been unique and definitive in inspiring spas to raise their game, in turn raising spa standards globally.
The newly rebranded European Spa and Wellness Convention can be viewed as an equally important event. This convention has successfully attracted hundreds of spa professionals from the European Spa industries and given a great platform to spa owners and senior managers, enabling them to share their experiences of operating a successful spa. This convention also runs alongside a dedicated spa exhibition at Professional Beauty, the UK’s largest trade show for the beauty industry, demonstrating how prominent and respected this convention really is.
The merging of the Convention and Awards brands has delivered a new coherence to the message of excellence, creating a stronger presence and encouraging success within the spa industry. Both of these events will now work hand in hand to inspire spa professionals to improve their quality and standards. This creates a significant partnership that enables the spa industry flourish to its fullest potential.
Another exciting development is the launch at the end of October of Professional Spa & Wellness - an exclusively digital publication for the global spa and wellness industry. This new initiative underlines the linking of the two events and the monthly digital magazine will have an initial circulation of 11,000 emailed directly to spa owners, managers and directors worldwide. With an online distribution aimed at senior management covering the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia, the publication is set to strengthen Professional Beauty’s presence in the international spa marketplace. Packed with intelligent, informative and in-depth news and features covering the most topical issues across the diverse spa industry spectrum, the monthly title will be complemented by a website, updated daily, and a fortnightly newsletter.
Already the UK’s leading beauty industry publisher, the launch of Professional Spa & Wellness will expand on the company’s role within the professional spa field. The new title will also contribute to increasing the presence of top-level spa industry speakers and attendees at the many shows and conferences organised annually by the company.
