Polymer specialist REHAU has produced a new brochure setting out its strength in the residential housing market.
Designed for use by clients, specifiers and contractors in the private and social housing sectors, it outlines how REHAU’s range of energy efficient building solutions can help to satisfy both legislative and market drivers for improved energy performance in houses.
It includes examples of successful installations in projects ranging from high rise refurbishments to oak beamed cottages, sheltered housing new builds and low carbon eco houses.
It includes details of REHAU’s products and systems to reduce energy losses through the building fabric, to distribute energy efficiently and to generate energy using sustainable and renewable alternatives.
This includes: energy efficient PVC-U window and door systems and composite curtain walling with a Uw-Value of 0.8 W/m2K, underfloor heating and cooling systems, specialist polymer pipework for hot and cold water supply as well as for district heating schemes and both ground source energy probes and a ground – air heat exchanger.
