Nemex 2013 is set to be an exciting exhibition for Marshall-Tufflex, with the British manufacturer showcasing a new ‘intelligent’ boiler control unit that can cut domestic heating bills by 20%* and taking the wraps off a raft of new products that reduce power consumption in commercial premises.
Marshall-Tufflex has exhibited at Nemex for a number of years, each time unveiling new and innovative energy management systems for both domestic and commercial settings, including its Voltis commercial and Voltis Home voltage optimiser systems. And this year will be no different, with a number of new or enhanced products making it onto stand.
The company’s new Domestic Boiler Management system will be one of the stars of the show. It offers householders the possibility of reducing heating and hot water bills by 20% (subject to usage pattern). The system, which is Energy Saving Trust Recommended and qualifies for 5% VAT if purchased direct from an installer, controls the firing cycle of gas, oil and LPG boilers, reducing unnecessary dry cycling. Not only can this cut boiler running costs it also prolongs boiler lifespan. Marshall-Tufflex believes the system is the only domestic unit available with the option of an external weather sensor, which further increases savings potential.
Visitors to stand will also discover more about new developments to the Voltis 100Amp range, which offers small to medium sized customers all the benefits of the respected Marshall-Tufflex Voltis commercial voltage optimisation range but in a miniaturised, highly cost-effective format. Voltis 100Amp is perfect for small to medium sized installations such as smaller supermarkets, convenience stores, schools, hotels, offices etc. The system is suitable for any location utilising a single phase electricity supply and load up to 100Amps. It is available nationwide through electrical wholesalers and easily installed by a qualified electrical contractor. It measures 420mm x 360mm x 195mm and refines power quality and comes as standard with an automatic bypass function plus intelligent control to maximise savings potential.
In addition to voltage optimisers, Marshall-Tufflex offers a wide range of energy management solutions for commercial applications, including appliance control products and Sinergy fixed/portable sub-metering devices, all of which can communicate back to a Control Centre enabling live data to be visible via a personalised dashboard for complete management of energy saving technologies. Its Sinergy Pulse Plus sub-meters are particularly pertinent for retail multiples, delivering accurate power measurement and recording with data reporting wirelessly over the mobile phone network, making it perfect for monitoring geographically dispersed locations such as retail outlets under the same management.
“The Domestic Boiler Management system and Voltis 100Amp development are just two of the many new products Marshall-Tufflex will be bringing to market this year,” said Jeremy Dodge, Head of Marketing & Technical Services. “Some, such as the DBM, are totally new for us and others are developments of systems already on the market. We pride ourselves on continually improving and expanding our product portfolio and 2013 looks to be a bumper year. Watch this space for further details about the full range we’re taking to Nemex.”
