A through-the-wall system from Saint-Gobain. Three products, tested as one through-the-wall solution.

GypLyner Xternal is a through the wall solution with one Saint-Gobain supplier. It combines British Gypsum boards, Isover insulation and Intrastack light gauge steel framing system (SFS), tested as a complete through-the-wall system.

Working together

Fire resistance tested to BS EN 1364-1 at 60, 90 and 120 minutes, inside to out and outside to in. Up to Rw 56 dB tested sound insulation. Thermal performance depends on the specification, with a range of insulation options.

Glasroc X sheathing board is BBA-certified for external façades and tested for weather exposure for up to 12 months, so internal work can start.

Isover Polterm Max Plus is a stone wool insulation designed for ventilated rainscreen and masonry cladding, Euroclass A1 and BBA-certified, manufactured with a water-repellent additive and a black glass veil that helps to conceal the insulation behind open jointed facades.

Intrastack light gauge steel framing is the infill to the primary structure on multi-storey and multi-occupancy buildings.

Installation details for junctions, abutments, windows and deflection are available for the solution with Technical Support for the project.

Warrantied together

The whole system is covered by the SpecSure® Systems Warranty, assured to perform as specified for 60 years. One warranty for the full system.

When every element is designed to perform together, specification becomes clearer. GypLyner Xternal. The clear choice.
