Momentum continues to build around CO2nstruct Zero, the industry’s united response to the need to drive carbon out of construction.
Five more companies from across the broad spectrum of construction have signed up to become CO2nstruct Zero Business Champions.
CO2nstruct Zero was launched last year to unify industry efforts to cut carbon. The campaign focusses on nine priorities including moves to zero emission plant, retrofitting existing buildings, measuring carbon use and developing low carbon materials.

CO2nstruct Zero Business Champions are businesses that have made commitments in relation to these priorities and have agreed to share their good practice with the wider industry. The newest Business Champions are:
• Cara
• Civco
• Naylor Industries
• Timloc Building Products
• Tilbury Douglas
CLC co-chair Andy Mitchell said: “We are now moving into our second year of the CO2nstruct Zero campaign, but I am pleased to see that we are seeing no let-up in the number of companies that are looking to get on board.
“These latest Champions have made a commitment to work collaboratively as we live up to the promises we made at COP26 to reduce the carbon use of the UK construction sector.”
