The internationally renowned workwear brand Dickies has recently donated equipment, which could save life and limb in an emergency at Radstock Museum.
Maurice Morton presented Museum Trustee, Tom Randell with a selection of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to boost health and safety.
Tom commented: “This is new equipment for an emergency safety box which the Arts Council has introduced as part of an emergency plan. The box needs to contain a certain amount of PPE-things like goggles, masks, disposable boiler suits, and high visibility vests. The box will also need to contain materials for rescuing damaged artefacts.
“This is very kind of Dickies. The equipment is extremely valuable to the museum in terms on health and safety.”
Maurice added: “We are pleased to have helped Radstock Museum to help improve health and safety for anyone dashing back into the building to try to save what they can should disaster strike.”
