Leading UK tile manufacturer, British Ceramic Tile, is set to unveil a new brand and extended sales team as the company moves to become a serious contender within the specification market.
Created for the commercial market, the company has launched Project, a new brand which brings together British Ceramic Tile’s diverse, market-leading product portfolio together into one offering, providing architects and interior designers with their most comprehensive collection of wall and floor tiles to date.
Project offers customers a fresh approach to tiles with products now grouped into five key market segments (hospitality, leisure, retail/office, education and safety) to simplify the specification process.
British Ceramic Tile’s, Senior Product Manager, Paul Jackson, explains: “Architects and interior designers are often searching for top quality products that meet their diverse and exacting needs which can be in several key market segments from hotel developments through to leisure centre refurbishments.
“With our new brand, we have moved away from the traditional format of offering products as purely a material or design choice, instead we have strategically segmented our ranges by the type of project being undertaken to ensure our collections are incredibly easy for architects and designers to navigate.”
From high definition ceramic stone-effect tiles and luxurious porcelain through to glass tiles, mosaics and collaborations with iconic British designers such as Conran and Hemingway, Project offers a complete tiling solution to suit a wide range of projects and budgets, designed and made here in the UK.
The company has also strengthened its contract team with the appointment of two new specification managers, Marc Hobbins and Steven Thomas. Marc and Steven will join Olly Roberts, national contracts manager and will be based in the London area. Changes have also recently been made to restructure the internal sales team to streamline the ordering process and offer an improved service to customers.
Paul added: “With our design-led, British made products, fast and efficient turnarounds from our Devon-based distribution operation and dedicated specification team, we are now incredibly well placed to service the needs of our customers.”
A new catalogue is now available showcasing the new full collections.
