The continuing development of the well-established Stargard DDA compliant handrail, means that a “supply only” version of the handrail is now available.
Stargard-Flex has been developed especially for the supply only market.
The handrail is still the 4mm (4,000 microns) thick PVC sleeved over galvanised steel tube, but it now incorporates bends which can be formed by hand, on site, without any deformation of the handrail around the bend.
Naturally this speeds up installation times and dramatically reduces the risk of handrail bends not fitting correctly.
A “Requirement Technical Sheet” is available to ensure the correct number of bends and handrail lengths are specified.
Stargard-Flex is available in a range of colours.
