Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS), part of the Travis Perkins Group, is continuing to communicate the importance of skills and knowledge by partnering with the LABC to provide on-going support and training to its customers.
SBS, in conjunction with Travis Perkins, has extended its national sponsorship of the LABC Building Awards of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year and will have a presence at its monthly technical seminars.
Paul Joyner, Managing Director of SBS, said: “The LABC technical seminars are a great place for SMEs, local builders, developers, and architects to discuss the best solutions on the market. Our presence at these meetings provides us with a unique chance to talk to the people at the centre of our industry and to further promote the importance of continued training.
“Communicating the significance of Y-values and their contribution to cost and energy efficient buildings is also high on our agenda. Working with LABC gives us a valuable opportunity to meet with our peers and promote the benefit of using independent Standard Construction Drawings, such as those offered by SBS.”
Each technical seminar takes place in the morning, to ensure the rest of the day is still available. The next seminars are taking place on:
