Stanmore Place by St Edward, has two new reasons to celebrate, with the three year anniversary since launching and international recognition of the quality and beauty of its landscape.
The development has won the Landscape Architecture for London award at the International Property Awards 2012, acknowledging Stanmore Place as an outstanding example of innovative design, with thoughtfully designed landscape, offering stunning lakeside views, gardens and elegant water features.
Stanmore Place has now won an award for its landscape architecture two out of the three years since its launch in 2009, having won the Best Landscaped - Urban Development accolade at the New Homes and Garden Awards 2011.
In addition, October 2012 heralds the third anniversary since the successful launch of the first phase of Stanmore Place. The development has established itself as one of the most desirable addresses in the area and with a new community forming, now is the perfect time to celebrate all that Stanmore Place has to offer. St Edward will be hosting a champagne reception for residents and visitors over the weekend of 13-14 October, with entertainment by a lively Jazz duo and the exciting release of the latest show apartment within the current phase Madeleine Court.
Paul Vallone, Managing Director, St Edward comments: “I am delighted that Stanmore Place is being recognised again for its remarkable landscape design, testament to the fact that at the point of its third anniversary, the development continues to thrive."
Andrew Smith, Director at fabrik - the Landscape Architects behind Stanmore Place, comments: “I am extremely happy that Stanmore Place has been acknowledged as an example of outstanding landscape design.
“We came to the project wanting to set a new benchmark in urban landscape, creating a modern, attractive and sustainable living environment. It is really encouraging that this has been recognised and I hope that we have created something that can be enjoyed by the whole community at Stanmore Place.”
Located on Honeypot Lane in Harrow, North West London, Stanmore Place provides 798 high specification apartments and office space. The development is professionally managed, with a 24 hour concierge service, a residents’ gym and Zipcar car-share club.
The development is accessed by a bridge over the feature lake, with over a thousand fresh water fish. The lake and gardens also boast a water feature and landscape illuminations in the evening.
The architecture of the buildings and landscape at Stanmore Place has helped to create a real sense of community at the development, which also provides cycle paths and a children’s play area.
