Spirotech - the water conditioning and system protection specialist- has expanded its range of commercial dirt separators with the introduction of larger built in magnet sizesfor both the SpiroTrap Magnet and SpiroCombi Magnet dirt separator.
The compact, powerful and easy to clean dirt separators are both equipped with built in magnet technology, enabling them to effectively remove both magnetic and non-magnetite dirt from large-scale cooling, ventilation and heating systems. Adding to the existing model sizes of DN50, 65, 80, and 100, the latest additions to the Spirotech commercial portfolio include DN 125, 150, 200 and 250 magnetic variants.
Providing superb protection for the growing number of systems featuring newgeneration energy efficient pumps- installed in line with the recent ErP Eco design directive- Spirotech’s range of dirt separators ensure pump efficiency levels are maintained whilst preventingloss of efficiency as the magnetic rotors have a propensity to attract magnetite and dirt circulating in system water.
Made of high quality, robust steel construction, the renowned SpiroTrap Magnet and SpiroCombi magnet dirt separators incorporateinnovativedry pocket construction which houses the maintenance- free magnet. Spirotech’s new D125 and 150 magnetic variants contain one dry pocket, with the larger Spirotech D200 and 250 magnetic units containing two dry pocket features, ensuring any magnetic dirt trapped in the unit will adhere to the construction’s exterior.
Using Spirotech patent pending technology the unique construction technology tackles circulating magnetite by enabling it to be dragged downwards by the flexible drag mechanism, allowing the magnetic dirt to be collected at the bottom of the unit and discharged together with the non-magnetic dirt, ensuring fewer system malfunctions, faster commissioning times and easier maintenance.
