Leading building, maintenance and refurbishment specialist, FT Finley, has been appointed by Mosscare Housing to provide support to the organisation’s newly established in-house maintenance team.
The contract, which commenced in October, will see FT Finley work alongside the team to carry out repairs and maintenance services for around 4,500 homes in Stockport and Tameside, as well as in the south and east of Manchester.
FT Finley has worked with Mosscare Housing and Mossbank Homes since 2008, providing reactive maintenance, void property refurbishments and a variety of planned works programmes.
David Bevan, head of asset management at Mosscare Housing, commented: “FT Finley has been a valued contractor partner of ours for four years. We took the strategic decision to move our maintenance in-house for the first time, but knowing we have FT Finley to provide support brings real peace of mind. The company’s track record for providing quality work at a sustainable price was the key to it securing this new contract and it will be great to continue our relationship with the team going forwards.”
