Timber door manufacturer JELD-WEN has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new advanced doorset range, designed to support customers with project requirements, whether simple or more complex.
The new additions strengthen the company’s SecureFIT and ReadyFIT ranges, prioritising enhanced aesthetics and fire-safe performance across commercial and residential applications.

The range has been introduced as part of a wider refresh of the internal, communal, and flat entrance door ranges. Aimed at simplifying the decision-making process for specifiers, the new range helps them to make confident choices in a complex regulatory landscape.
Developed for customers who want greater design flexibility without compromising on compliance, the advanced doorsets offer fire-safe solutions in an extended range of high-quality finishes and hardware options.
Suitable for internal and communal applications, ReadyFIT Advance is supplied as a complete, pre-finished doorset system, including the door, frame and hardware, helping to streamline installation and support consistent quality. Featuring larger door profiles and high-quality finishes, including 4-sided hardwood lippings, this doorset is designed for unique and demanding projects where durability and appearance are equally important. The range is available in non-fire-rated, FD30 and FD60 options.
For flat entrance applications, SecureFIT Advance is engineered for security and compliance, without compromising on aesthetics. Designed to meet FD30 for fire protection, PAS24 standards and Secured by Design accreditation, the doorsets provide enhanced protection for residents while maintaining a high-quality appearance. Mirroring the large profiles and lippings of their internal counterparts, SecureFIT Advance offers design flexibility through a wide choice of finishes, with the option to incorporate glazing inserts to enhance light transfer and visual interest.

Lisa Ward, Product and Marketing Director UK at JELD-WEN, explained: “In expanding our offering of doorset performances, we’re supporting our customers to confidently select the right doorsets for their specific project needs. The advanced additions give specifiers and contractors greater confidence that they can meet performance requirements while still achieving the design quality their projects demand.”
The launch follows JELD-WEN’s recent achievement of the BM Trada Q-Mark certification, which, alongside its existing Certifire and Certisecure accreditations, allows it to offer a wider range of tested and compliant doorsets into internal and communal flat entrance categories.
Lisa added: “Until now, customers have often had to balance practicality with high-quality aesthetics. With the introduction of this advanced range, we’ve bridged that gap, offering a solution that is as attractive and versatile as it is compliant.”
