Whilst avid viewers of Grand Designs may be used to seeing Glidevale Protect products making an appearance on screen, it’s always great for us to see them installed in such a unique and innovative self-build project as the Triangle House in West Sussex.
The project on Channel 4 saw Olaf and Fritha Mason tackle a triangular plot of land, wedged between a busy road and railway line with a main sewer running through the land, to create a dream home for their family, designed and built by master craftsman Olaf, himself.
Glidevale Protect’s Protect Zytec vapour permeable underlay was used on the eye-catching pointed roof design to reduce the risk of harmful condensation, while Protect TF200 Thermo insulating breather membrane was installed to the external walls to ensure thermal efficiency.
