Leading ground
drainage and rainwater systems specialist, Marley Plumbing & Drainage, is
delighted to announce the introduction of its new Regency system to the Marley
Life4 Rainwater range.
The Regency profile
has been designed to replace Marley Plumbing & Drainage’s Classic rainwater
system. The contoured gutter system provides specifiers, installers and
merchants with a number of functional and aesthetic benefits.
Available in four
colour options, including anthracite grey, the Regency profile is particularly
suited to modern houses and conservatories. This suitability extends to the
unique co-ordinating downpipe, as well as a 68mm circular downpipe, which is
also compatible with the Regency profile.

Featured within the
Regency profile are a number of advanced Life4 technologies. For one, the
profile can withstand up-to four times the exposure of standard PVC-u rainwater
gutter and downpipes systems. This was revealed after the profile underwent
weathering tests for rainwater systems, as set out within the European
standard. The tests mimic actual conditions but can also accelerate the effects
in order to assess long term performance. Measurements taken after the extended
test showed that the extent of colour fade was well below what’s permitted in
the European Standard after 1600 hours.
As with all of its
rainwater systems, Marley Plumbing & Drainage has produced the Regency
system with ease of installation in mind. To this end, the profile features
pivot clippings, which make the unit far easier to fit. What’s more, the
profile features multi-position unifit outlets meaning it can be fixed
anywhere, including angles. This increased functionality not only reduces the
risk of overflow but helps makes the process of aligning the pipe far easier.
What’s more,
maintenance of the units is also reduced as the bracket can be fixed directly
onto the fascia. In turn, this ensures that the downpipe remains connected to
the outlet at all times.
Marley Plumbing &
Drainage has taken great care to ensure the profile is as aesthetically
pleasing as it is functional. The profile allows specifiers to meet their own
design goals and is available in four colour options; black, white, brown and
anthracite grey.
As mentioned, the
profile has superior colour retention levels, but also has a high gloss finish.
Unlike alternatives on the market, the Regency profile has two feature lines
throughout the pipe that give a metallic appearance.
