The Travis Perkins Group has reported its most successful year to date at Ecobuild 2014 after bringing all of its leading brands onto one stand in recognition of the demand for ‘whole-house integrated solutions’.
The move reflected how the Group is capitalising upon the expertise of its brands to offer end-to-end solutions in support of installers and contractors.
The high number of visitors to the Travis Perkins Group stand responded positively to the whole-house solutions on offer, from Keyline’s below-ground services, through to renewable technologies from Solfex, City Plumbing, and Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS). Each brand is backed by SBS’ ability to provide technical specification, training, mentoring, and certification.
Paul Joyner, Managing Director of Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS), said: “The Travis Perkins Group has the services and solutions in place to meet the demands of the often highly-regulated sustainable marketplace and we were keen for our stand to reflect this.
“Installers and contractors need more support than ever as they attempt to navigate regulations, legislation, and training courses. This demand applies to everyone from house builders wanting to comply with the new Building Regulations, to installers and contractors wanting to take advantage of the Renewable Heating Incentive (RHI). The resulting pressure generated strong interest in the whole-house solution we demonstrated at Ecobuild.”
Maxine Frost, PTS Renewables Director, added: “We recorded more visitors to the stand on the first day than during the whole exhibition last year; the installers know that RHI is coming and they were out in force to find out how merchants can support them. PTS’ differentiator is that it provides a complete package of solutions; combining this with the wider Group offering, which includes everything from the building fabric, to training and system design, means we are all ready to go and I think the installers responded to this.”
The Travis Perkins Group stand featured elements from a number of leading brands, led by teams from its CCF, CPS, Keyline, PTS, SBS, Solfex and Travis Perkins brands. In addition to showcasing relevant renewable technologies, the stand also demonstrated its readiness for the RHI through its partnership with PPL Training and Toriga, as well as its ability to provide a design service through PTS’ dedicated Renewable Energy Solutions team.
