Persimmon Homes, one of the UK's leading house builders, have recently developed a stunning new housing project, Martello Park, located in Pembroke, South Wales.
Constructed with nostalgic Country Stone walling products from world class paving and walling manufacturer, Tobermore, the homes evoke vintage style and charm.
As Persimmon were seeking a split-face walling solution with the appearance of natural stone when planning the new homes at Martello Park, Tobermore’s Country Stone in the soft blended tones of Bracken was the perfect solution to meet this requirement.
The aesthetic qualities, cost effectiveness and ease of installation of Tobermore’s Country Stone make it an ideal choice for house building. The naturally weathered stone appearance of this product is increasingly sought after by new home buyers, and there is no doubt that the visual appeal of a home is a crucial decider when selling properties. Therefore, it is more important than ever for developers and architects to meet the expectations and taste of the modern home buyer. Country Stone can also be used on its own or integrated with other materials such as facing brick or render to produce homes with an authentic look.
As well as providing superb building materials for house building projects, Tobermore supply block paving, permeable paving, paving flags, kerbs, edging and channels, walling, facing brick, retaining walls and step products for all varieties of commercial and domestic projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
Designed by Hammond Architectural Services, Martello Park consists of 39 three and four bedroom homes. The beautiful landscape was designed Tirlun Design Associates and Jones Bros took care of the groundworks on the project. Named after the ancient Martello Tower in Pembroke Dock, the gorgeous homes offer a relaxed and family-friendly lifestyle.
