The National Insulation Association (NIA) will be taking part in a series of Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) dissemination events for Private Landlords being organised by National Energy Action (NEA) in major towns and cities across Britain during March and April.
The events will also include speakers from British Gas and the National Landlords Association and are designed to brief Private Landlords on the opportunities available within these schemes.
With the Green Deal and ECO now operational, there is an increasing focus on upgrading the energy efficiency of properties within the private rented sector.
The NIA will provide delegates with details of the different types of insulation including solid wall insulation and hard to treat cavities and the support that the NIA and its members can provide to Private Landlords in accessing the Green Deal and ECO and installing measures.
