BRE's new Resilience14 exhibition has announced the first details of its core seminar programme, taking flood resilience as a key theme.
Following on from BRE's successful "Britain under Water" Conference in March 2014, Resilience14's seminar programme will highlight the latest thinking on flood issues, through an international selection of expert speakers from government, academia and the commercial sector.
Backed by the BRE pedigree of independent, cutting edge research, the four sessions will cover:
A panel debate will give speakers, invited panellists and members of the audience the opportunity to explore and exchange views on one of the key issues facing Britain's built environment.
The seminar strands follow on from the highly acclaimed BRE Britain under Water conference, which attracted over 120 delegates and hosted speakers from the Environment Agency, DEFRA and AXA.
Being held at Olympia London on 26-27 November, Resilience14 is a two-day, content driven conference and exhibition, showcasing the technologies and solutions that can protect and mitigate against flooding, storms and extreme temperatures. Supported by seminars and interactive sessions, the aim is to provide visitors with an understanding of resilience in the context of insurance and risk, design and build, health and wellbeing and repair, rebuild and rehabilitation of the built environment.
