The new FIREFLY® FB180 Raised Access Floor System, for instance makes extensive use of the company’s fully proven ablative batts to provide up to 240 minutes protection against the spread of flames within computer floors or even infrastructure projects like tunnels. Then up above, the lightweight Apollo Lite 30:30 has been repurposed to enhance compartmentation and smoke control across suspended ceilings.

Impregnated with intumescent graphite, the compressible foam material expands on exposure to heat to effectively seal gaps in protecting multiple joint types in walls and floors. Crucial battles can, of course, turn on tight situations and another product paraded on the FIREFLY® stand displays is a one-sided version of the mineral wool batt – the FB160 – which can be cut to shape and deployed where access is difficult.
