British flooring manufacturer Amtico has strengthened its focus on the growing living sector with the creation of a dedicated Multi-Occupancy team, bringing together specialist expertise to support developers, contractors and designers working across a wide range of living sector projects in the UK.
The move sees two areas of the business merged to create a single, aligned team, reflecting demand for specialist flooring advice and specification as the boundaries between development types continue to evolve.
Private sale, build-to-rent (BTR) and housing association projects are becoming increasingly interconnected, requiring a more aligned and flexible approach to specification, particularly as regulatory changes continue to shape the sector.

Amtico’s newly merged team is led by Nikki Wright, Head of Business Development, who will oversee strategy and support key client relationships across the sector. Nikki has been at Amtico for over a decade, with experience leading sales across new build and high-rise residential developments, working with private-sale developers, housing associations and retirement living providers.
The experienced team brings together more than 40 years of expertise across commercial and residential sectors, including Jessica Jarvis, who supports developers, housing associations and later living developments, alongside Helen Helm and Keith Helm, who bring specialist expertise in BTR and student accommodation (PBSA). Together, the team offers a joined-up and collaborative approach to luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring design and specification, supporting clients across a wide range of multi-occupancy sector projects.
Commenting on the merger and new team, Nikki Wright, Head of Business Development, said: “The residential and living sectors are changing rapidly, with increasing crossover between the markets and higher expectations around design, sustainability and long-term performance. Flooring plays a key role in these environments, and by bringing our LVT expertise and sector experience together into a dedicated team, we are able to offer more focused support to developers, contractors and designers. It is about understanding the different demands of each sector and helping our clients create spaces that not only look beautiful but continue to perform over time.”
By aligning specialist expertise across these sectors, Amtico aims to simplify LVT specification and support more efficient decision-making for clients working across multi-occupancy and living environments.
The team will operate nationally as part of Amtico’s wider sales network to ensure clients benefit from tailored expertise. The investment in the multi-occupancy team reinforces Amtico’s commitment to supporting developers, contractors and designers as the market continues to evolve.
