The Future Homes Standard is here, and the industry’s focus is rapidly shifting from policy intent to real-world delivery.

This June, the Future Homes Hub will bring together technical leaders to deliver two Technical Conferences that will unpack the detail of the new Standard and get straight to the practical realities of implementation.

The one‑day conferences will take place on:

  • Tuesday 9 June – Leeds Beckett University
  • Wednesday 17 June – Central Hall Westminster, London

With the same programme delivered at both venues, these highly practical conferences are designed for homebuilders, technical and sustainability teams, energy assessors, manufacturers and specialist subcontractors focused on understanding the Standard and delivering compliant, healthy, high‑quality homes.

Through a full day of expert‑led sessions, panels and open discussion, attendees will explore design and specification decisions, installation and commissioning challenges, and practical ways to “lead early and learn fast” to de‑risk delivery, informed by real project experience.

Topics to be covered:

  • Emerging fabric strategies
  • Shining a light on PV requirements and design responses
  • Implications for ventilation installation and commissioning
  • Heat pump system design and specification in practice and in SAP10.3
  • Other low carbon heating solutions – what and when
  • SAP10.3 experience and practice
  • FHS implications for taller buildings
  • Heat networks
  • Grid connections and load shifting considerations

With technical teams under increasing pressure to provide rapid, robust guidance on Future Homes Standard compliance, the conferences offer a timely opportunity to build confidence and capability across organisations.

Registration is now open.
