Amtico, British manufacturer and designer of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, has unveiled the next generation of its specialist Marine collection – a fully reimagined range of high-performance, design-led flooring crafted for life at sea.
Unveiled at Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe (CSI Europe) on 3rd-4th December 2025 in Hamburg, the new Amtico Marine collection embodies the spirit of its campaign line, ‘Discovery Awaits’ – inviting designers to explore unparalleled creative possibilities through bespoke design, new laying patterns, and expanded material choice.
With 30 Woods, 26 Stones, and 28 laying patterns, the collection offers the most comprehensive and flexible Marine LVT palette on the market. Two new standard sizes – 18x36” and 36x36” – join the range, while new Marble and Terrazzo Stones, as well as Teak and Black Timber Woods, bring fresh elegance and depth to onboard interiors.
The collection also introduces Amtico Marine x Décor, blending the heritage craftsmanship of Amtico’s Décor patterns with Marine performance. Designers can now choose from 20 patterns – including the intricately detailed Temple Diamond, Venetian Parquet, and Victorian Star – to bring a sense of heritage and artistry to the ocean environment.
Amtico Marine expands the creative possibilities for ship designers with 28 laying patterns, up from 10 in the previous collection. Each of the 56 Wood and Stone designs can now be specified in a far wider range of laying patterns, enabling more design freedom. Among the highlights are Chantilly Weave, Versailles Parquet, Gable Parquet, Chevron, French Weave, Arc, Lune, Gatsby Square, Frame and Grand Flagstone – alongside crossover patterns such as Parquet, Pleat and Halcyon Pleat, now available for both Wood and Stone.
At the heart of the collection is Amtico’s Design Service – a bespoke offer that allows architects and designers to create flooring as individual as the vessels themselves. From custom motifs, logos, and branded insignias to bespoke shapes, laying patterns and colours, the Amtico Marine team brings even the most complex concepts to life with precision cutting and meticulous quality assurance from the factory in Coventry, UK.
This tailor-made capability extends to branding motifs, allowing cruise lines or yacht owners to personalise designs with names, dates, or logos — creating truly distinctive spaces that express identity and elevate the onboard experience.
Every product in the collection is MED certified and bears the IMO wheelmark and UK ENsign, ensuring compliance with the Marine Equipment Directive (Modules B & D) and Merchant Shipping Regulations, approved by Lloyd’s Register and mutually recognised by Transport Canada and the US Coast Guard. The range also offers antimicrobial protection with an ionic silver additive proven to reduce bacteria by over 99.9% in 24 hours, maintaining hygiene across high-traffic passenger areas.
For added versatility, Amtico Marine can be specified with Amtico Bio, which contains 36% bio-attributed content, reducing embodied carbon by 20%-28% while delivering the same performance and finish. The collection will also be available with Amtico Safety, meeting the BS EN 13845 Enhanced Slip Standard.
