The Good Homes Alliance (GHA) has launched the Good Homes Fund Finder, a new resource for GHA members developed by Rafe Bertram on behalf of the GHA to help housing professionals navigate the financial incentives and compliance frameworks that support higher environmental performance in UK homes.
Launched at Good Homes, GHA’s annual conference, on 28 January 2026 at the British Library Knowledge Centre, the Fund Finder was unveiled to more than 200 attendees and received a highly positive response.
Designed for developers delivering sustainable new build projects, homeowners planning retrofit, and local authorities reviewing council housing, the Fund Finder enables users to identify relevant financial incentives based on specific project scenarios. The tool brings together information on available funding mechanisms and regulatory drivers, helping members understand which incentives may apply to new and existing homes across the UK.
The Fund Finder builds on GHA’s earlier report, “The Green Shift – The Existing Financial Incentives for Higher Environmental Performance of New Homes”, also authored by Rafe Bertram as part of the Build Net Zero Now campaign’s Finance Working Group. That report explored whether a ‘tipping point’ has been reached — where existing financial incentives make higher environmental performance financially advantageous for all stakeholders.
Translating the report’s insights into a practical, searchable resource, the Good Homes Fund Finder provides GHA members with a clear starting point for aligning sustainability ambitions with available financial support.
