Pandrol France, a global leader in designing, installing and maintaining railway infrastructure, has been awarded a Gold Medal in the latest EcoVadis sustainability ratings for the fifth consecutive year.
Pandrol France achieved an impressive score of 79/100, placing Pandrol amongst the top five per cent of sustainable businesses worldwide.
EcoVadis is recognised worldwide as a trusted benchmark for business sustainability, evaluating companies across 21 criteria grouped under four key themes – environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The final score reflects Pandrol France both current performance and long-term commitment to responsible business practices.
In addition to its EcoVadis success, Pandrol France is also proud to maintain an Advanced level in carbon management, showcasing the company’s commitment to decarbonisation. This achievement shows that Pandrol France has implemented a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) management system, backed by actions, clear targets and reporting capabilities.

Pandrol works closely with customers to identify joint improvements and propose alternative low-carbon solutions, encouraging suppliers to join them in their decarbonisation efforts. The company is also conducting Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for its key products, reducing material use and using recycled materials. Manufactured using old tyres, the SRS range incorporates up to 90% recycled materials and offers a low CO2 footprint.
