RIBA has appointed three new Board Trustees and, for the first time, a Board Advisor, specialising in Marketing and Communications.
At a RIBA Council meeting, the four new members were appointed for an initial three-year term, which will begin in April 2026.
Nick Brown, Paul Finch, and Guy Perricone will join the Board as independent expert Trustees, while Tanya Weller will join the Board as a Board Advisor.

Nick Brown (Trustee, Business and Commercial)
Nick is the Chief Financial Officer and Board Director at the Government Property Agency (GPA), overseeing finances for over 200 properties and supporting modernisation of the UK government office estate.
Paul Finch (Trustee, Heritage and Culture)
Paul is Programme Director of the World Architecture Festival (WAF), having previously edited Building Design, Architects’ Journa,l and Architectural Review, and served as Deputy Chair of the Design Council and chair of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE).
Guy Perricone (Trustee, People and Culture)
Guy has an investment banking background, having worked at Saloman Brothers and SF Warburg. He is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of Northern Ballet and is a Trustee of the National Army Museum and the Gabrieli Consort & Players.
Tanya Weller (Advisor, Marketing and Communications)
Tanya is Marketing Director at Samsung UK, where she has led major brand and commercial initiatives. She has over 20 years’ experience delivering consumer-centred strategies across technology, entertainment and lifestyle sectors.
Chaired by Jack Pringle, the current RIBA Board comprises the RIBA President (Chris Williamson), Honorary Secretary (Manuel Nogueira), Honorary Treasurer (Femi Oresanya), Sumita Singha OBE Dr (hc) (Education and Professional Development), Nik Benford (Digital), Murray Orr (Business and Enterprise), MaryAnne Stevens (Heritage), and Marjorie Strachan (Organisational Change) alongside Council members Tom Foggin, Ruffina Thilakaratne, and Philip Allsopp.
Murray Orr, MaryAnne Stevens, and Marjorie Strachan will be standing down from their positions in April after completing two consecutive three-year terms.
