Daikin UK will return as headline sponsor of Grand Designs Live for the second year running. The show brings together homeowners who want to create the perfect space. Daikin’s presence shows how its climate control expertise helps those homes stay comfortable in every season and ready for the future.
Visitors to the Excel London show in May 2026 and the Birmingham NEC show in October 2026 will be able to explore Daikin’s latest heating and cooling solutions up close, speak directly with experts and see how modern climate control works as part of a whole home approach.

With increasing interest in smart connectivity, visitors will also learn how Daikin technology integrates seamlessly with other home energy components, including smart home controls and solar, to deliver efficient, flexible comfort all year round. Visitors will have the chance to discuss their projects with Daikin experts and, when they are ready, request quotes directly from Daikin’s installers.
Government plans to expand the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to include air to air heat pumps are expected to accelerate demand. Compact solutions such as Daikin Multi+, which provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water in a single, efficient package, are already a strong fit for smaller and mid-sized homes. For many visitors, the show is where creative ideas start to meet real world decisions, including how technologies like heat pumps can contribute to comfortable, well performing homes over time.
Daikin expects the sponsorship to generate hundreds of high-quality homeowner leads nationwide. With tens of thousands of visitors expected across both shows, installers who join the Sustainable Home Network now will be in the best position to benefit, with Sustainable Home Centres across the UK guiding homeowners to trusted installers in their local area. These centres offer local advice backed by national expertise, giving homeowners confidence and ensuring installers can deliver professional service from first enquiry through to aftercare.
With visitors increasingly focused on future ready homes, installers gain an advantage by working with a manufacturer that can support them through upcoming regulatory changes. As new government decisions approach in 2026, Daikin provides the design guidance, training, MCS support and technical expertise to installers that will help installations meet evolving standards and deliver dependable comfort year after year.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Tomoji Miki, Managing Director, Daikin UK, said:
“Grand Designs Live gives us a great platform to connect homeowners with the experts who can bring their projects to life. Our message is simple. Homeowners create the home, and we create the comfort that makes it enjoyable to live in all year round. With interest in heat pumps growing and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme expanding, we’re expecting this sponsorship to generate hundreds of high-quality leads for our installer network.
Right now is a great time to join our network and benefit from rising demand. Our Sustainable Home Centres play a key role in directing homeowners to qualified installers, helping ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. And with Daikin beside you, you’ll stay ahead of legislation as the next round of government decisions comes in.
Our aim is straightforward. We want visitors to see how great design, great comfort and smart investment all work together, and how Daikin can help them create a home that feels as good as it looks.”
Richard Morey, Grand Designs Live Show Director, added:
"We’re delighted to welcome Daikin as the headline sponsor for Grand Designs Live London 2025. The show has always been about inspiring visitors with visionary design, innovative technology, and sustainable ways of living, and Daikin’s leadership in low-carbon heating and cooling aligns perfectly with that mission. Their commitment to pushing boundaries in energy-efficient home solutions brings an exciting feel to this year’s event.
"Together, we’re giving homeowners, renovators, and self-builders the insight and confidence they need to create homes that are not only beautiful, but future ready.”
