Crittall Windows, the UK’s leading steel window and door manufacturer, is running a new RIBA-approved CPD seminar designed to support architects and specifiers working across both restoration and contemporary design projects.
Titled Steel Windows and Doors for the 21st Century, the CPD offers a practical and in-depth guide to specifying steel. It provides essential knowledge around design, construction methods and emerging technologies, giving professionals the confidence to integrate steel solutions into a wide variety of building types.
The course is available either face to face at Crittall’s headquarters in Essex or delivered online for practices across the UK. In both formats, sessions are led by experienced Crittall personnel who bring decades of technical and design insight to the table.

The CPD covers the distinctive properties of steel that make it a compelling choice for both external windows and doors and interior applications such as partitions and screens. Two structured modules are available. The first focuses on the specification of exterior steel windows and doors, including compliance, performance and aesthetic considerations. The second addresses the use of steel for interior glazing, now a hallmark of high-end residential, retail and commercial interiors.
