nima focuses on the Information Management Initiative at Digital Construction Week 2025

Nima is hosting two stages at Digital Construction Week (DCW) at ExCEL in east London on 4-5 June 2025.

This special 10th anniversary edition of the free-to attend expo event features numerous presentations, panel discussions and workshop sessions on a wide range of information management topics.

As an industry partner, nima has been supporting DCW in curating the Information Management Stage (IMS – sponsored by Egnyte) and the Information Management Exchange (IMX – sponsored by Global eTraining).

The packed two-day programme includes key sessions on the Construction Leadership Council-led Information Management Initiative, supported by nima.

Selected highlights include:

Wednesday 4 June 2025

  • (IMS: 10:30 – 11:00am) From PDFs to AI: Making the UK BIM Framework (now the Information Management Initiative Framework) more accessible. Speakers: Sarah Davidson, Mo Shana’a
  • (IMX: 10:30-11:15pm) Unifying construction data standards – an introduction to PAS 1958. Speakers: Emma Hooper, Dan Rossiter
  • (IMX: 14:00-14:45pm) Information Management Initiative (IMI) projects – how to contribute. Speakers: Henry Fenby-Taylor (chair), Bola Abisogun, John Hall, Emma Hooper, Shahida Rajabdeen
  • (IMS: 14:30-15:00pm) UK BIM Framework and facilities management. Speakers: Gordon Mitchell, Dan Rossiter
  • (IMS: 15:00-15:30pm) The practical aims of the Information Management Initiative (IMI) and the importance of Industry investment. Speakers: David Philp (chair), Chris Lees, Fiona Moore, Ioana Stoica, Paul Wilkinson

  • (IMS: 10:00-10:30) ISO 19650 update – just like buses, three come at once! Speaker: Paul Shillcock
  • (IMS: 10:30-11:00) Nima’s ambitions – why we need a strong IM community. Speakers: Emma Hooper, Fiona Moore, Phil Thompson, Paul Wilkinson
  • (IMS: 14:00-14:30) The Commercial/Contractual drivers behind the Information Management Initiative (IMI). Speakers: Bola Abisogun, Simon Lewis

Registration for DCW 2025 is open. Nima volunteers will be at the show throughout the two days, on stand D550, adjacent to the Information Management Stage.
