Since the Pendock Linea name was first introduced used more than 20 years ago, for our HVAC perimeter casings, it has expanded considerably and now includes nine building lining and architectural finishing products ranges.
In addition to perimeter casings, the Linea brand encompasses wall linings, ceiling rafts, lift reveals and soffit linings, as well as bulkheads & fascias, parapet capping and pilasters. The Linea family of products is completed by a range of specialised rooflight linings & atrium beam casings.
As every Linea product is bespoke manufactured to the dimensions and specifications of individual projects, each provides a practical and aesthetic solution for specific applications, while also ensuring a high degree of versatility can be maintained.
Linea wall linings illustrate this point perfectly, as they can be used for both interior and exterior applications where decorative or protective solutions are required. They are particularly effective where high levels of pedestrian traffic are present and are widely used in a diverse range of sectors to resist scuffing or damage to walls in applications, such as airports, schools, public transport, retail and commercial buildings.
Stainless steel and aluminium are commonly specified materials, although they can also be manufactured from a wide choice of materials including plywood; MDF or compact laminate, as well as textured metallics and a range of other finishes.
A recent project at Croydon’s prestigious Ruskin Square development, has made excellent use of this versatility, where specialised wall linings are used to conceal mechanical details surrounding a ground floor feature wall & fire curtain, while also providing a consistent finish to lift lobbies on each level of the 10 storey building.
The bespoke wall linings are manufactured from 3mm thick aluminium with a RAL 3007 finish and were also installed by Pendock using a concealed panel hanging system.
