The National Retrofit Hub (the Hub) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website and refreshed look and feel.
The launch coincides with the Hub’s new co-directors taking on their recently announced appointments.
Rachael Owens and Sara Edmonds are actively engaging with organisations across the retrofit sector to support the delivery of the Hub’s strategy; to enable the delivery of housing retrofit at scale in the UK.
The new website showcases the Hub's purpose, ambitions, and progress in the development of its six thematic working groups. There are also new sections to spotlight the Hub’s partners and sponsors.
Alongside the website revamp, the Hub has unveiled refreshed branding. The updated logo, colour scheme, and font embody the dynamic and collaborative ethos of the National Retrofit Hub.
The Hub’s co-directors, Rachael Owens and Sara Edmonds, commented: “We are delighted to share our improved website and branding. We believe these will help us to better convey our mission, values, and commitment to enabling the delivery of retrofit at scale in the UK.
“We are passionate about developing inspiring and engaging communications to facilitate positive progress towards net zero homes in the UK.
“Our icon serves as a visual representation of a ‘hub’, taken from the concept of a bicycle wheel; a powerful metaphor for progress and momentum. The ‘hub’ serves as a focal point of unity, symbolising the central role we play in facilitating collaboration and enabling everyone involved in the retrofitting of homes in the UK to achieve a net zero future more quickly.”
