Willmott Dixon has delivered 102 new homes in Feltham for the London Borough of Hounslow
Frank Towell Court consists of two, nine storey residential towers, a four-storey block of flats and seven Mews houses.
The mix of apartments, houses and maisonettes also includes landscaped gardens and public realm for residents to enjoy, along with wildlife areas, a park and new pathways.
The homes were on display at the opening ceremony that brought together key stakeholders including London Borough of Hounslow, Engenuiti, Kendal Kingscott and some of the new residents.
Richard Poulter, managing director for Willmott Dixon in the South said: “We are delighted to provide new, modern, and efficient housing for people in the borough. As we know sustainability is hugely important and the project has been designed to deliver energy savings and regenerate renewable energy.”
The first ever homes on the Frank Towell Court site were originally completed in June 1963 and 60 years later, as 102 new homes were added, councillors had the opportunity to meet with David Towell, the son of former Council Leader in the post-war period, Frank Towell, who the development was originally named after to mark his commitment to housebuilding.
Each property was designed and built with features to maximise energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, such as the use of photovoltaic panels and individual air source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water.
