Russell Roof Tiles was recently specified by Seagrave Developments, on a new care home project in Northampton.
The design of the 59-room care home, Squires Mews, featuring Russell Roof Tiles Lothian concrete roof tiles is managed by Avery Healthcare in Northampton.
The Lothian is a thinner leading-edge tile that has a mock joint and hidden interlock. The tile is laid broken bonded, creating a small format tile appearance whilst offering the commercial benefits of a concrete tile.
The Russell Roof Tiles team worked collaboratively with Seagrave Developments, and roofing contractors, Pebbleford Roofing to carry out this unique and exciting project, which needed a tile that fitted in with the local architectural style.
A full RussSpec Guarantee was also provided, ensuring quality and longevity. RussSpec is aimed at architects and specifiers who require detailed roofing specification clauses. Each RussSpec gives clauses that comply with the recommendations of British Standards, Codes of Practice, building regulations and cover the Russell range of tiles and accessories.

Squires Mews Care Home opened its doors in November 2022 and offers opportunities for the local community to enjoy their retirement years in an impressive, warm and welcoming environment with the added benefit of expert care services, 24 hours a day.
The project was a great success, with contractors, Pebbleford Roofing’s owner, Michael Watters, adding: “Our first job with Russell Roof Tiles was a success.
