Leading washroom and joinery companies, Washroom Washroom and Cre8 Joinery Solutions have invested in an additional state-of-the-art CNC machine to maximise their combined manufacturing capabilities and further future-proof the factory.
Manufacturing is at the heart of the business for both companies which is why they’re continually investing in and improving their facilities. This programme of investment includes the recent extension of the factory and offices to accommodate more designers and project managers as well as support staff.
The team has also installed several additional new pieces of machinery including a new edge bander and extractor. The latest is a new Homag nesting CNC machine, which will ensure they’re able to fully maximise cutting efficiency with less material wastage.
The 58,000 sq ft factory also includes a dedicated storage warehouse to reduce reliance on third party suppliers to deliver materials just in time, plus there’s also a large a mock-up area where the team can build elements of any project full size for client approvals prior to on-site installation.
Manufacturing most items in house gives Washroom and Cre8 much greater control over quality and meeting programme deadlines plus it allows more scope to create bespoke items to suit its clients. With the new machinery and factory extension the company has increased its manufacturing capacity to meet demand as it continues to grow.
