The UK’s premier event for home building, renovation and improvement makes a welcome return to Birmingham’s NEC.
Hosted by TV presenter and design guru Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live will run over five days from 5-9 October 2022.
The year’s edition is set to include exciting new exhibitors and features, which will join the long[1]running favourites that have cemented the show as the go-to event for the thousands of visitors who have walked through the doors before.
There are four sections at the show including, Grand Build which will showcase products to advance any project, from adding an extension to a home, to renovating a period property.
Visitors will see the likes of Internorm, Lazenby, Green Planning Studio Ltd, Hanse Haus and ABC+ Warranty exhibiting here. The Kitchens & Bathrooms Hall sponsored by Quooker which will include pioneering kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances with brands such as Kutchenhaus and Howdens Joinery.
The Gardens Hall sponsored by Hydropool, where visitors can discover brands such as Crocodile, Custom Garden Rooms and The Great British Awning and Blind Company – this section will span a variety of areas of interest such as outdoor cooking, swimming pools, garden buildings, hot tubs and landscaping while the Interiors Hall will offer stylish products which finish off a home including brands such as Julia Jones and Uropa Design.
Always one of the most popular features at the show, Ask an Expert, will return where you can book to discuss your build and renovation plans on a one-to-one basis with specialists in architecture, construction, finance, interior design and more.
The Grand Theatre in partnership with ABC+ Warranty, is an entertaining and informative platform where you can hear from the likes of Kevin McCloud, Kunle Barker and various talks from households on the current season The Streets. Maite and Carlos, who had ambitious plans to build a bold, Spanish inspired home, Jitinder with his Batchelor Pad that is worthy of the Hollywood Hills and Craig and Leah who created a contemporary, timber-clad kit house will all be on stage giving an insight into their very own self build journeys.
Also, not to be missed - The Self-Build Simplified talks will take place throughout the show in partnership with The Federation of Master Builders. New to Grand Designs Live NEC, The Interior Stage, is the place to find a mix of upcycling workshops and demos, interior inspiration, makeovers, as well as talks on organised space and de-cluttering.
