The Golf Classic continues to forge ahead

Following the understandable restrictions and uncertainty of the last two years surrounding social interaction and its effect on the Golf Classic, our players were more eager than ever to join us and play the game they love while visiting new courses and making connections with like-minded students of the game.

From March of this year onwards hundreds of players all over the country played their 1st round matches with hope in their hearts and smiles on their faces. The 3rd round is now well underway and the lucky souls who progress through the tournament have been sharing their experiences with us and their thoughts on the tournament.

Win or lose, it seems our players really value the mix of competition and camaraderie the tournament has been affording those who have taken part in it over the last thirty years. Here is some recent feedback from them.

“Thoroughly enjoyed the course, game and company and wish you and Colin the very best of luck in the rest of the competition.”

“It was a lovely day to play, a very enjoyable and close match and Kevin and Paul were great company!”

“This is what the Golf Classic is all about and great to meet people like yourself and Tony. You are both a credit to your club and we had a fantastic evening and really enjoyed it.”

These and the many other comments the Golf Classic Team receive gladden our hearts.

We wish all our golfers good weather, great golf and the best of luck in the coming rounds as we progress towards The Grand Final, which this year will be held at the Luxurious Slaley Hall Hotel and Golf Resort, set in one thousand acres of stunning Northumbrian moorland and forest, where our finalists will enjoy free championship golf, gala prize-giving dinner and overnight stay.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Aliaxis UK for their invaluable sponsorship and extend our appreciation to TSP Media for their unwavering support.
