The all new GRS-DUO Pipe Guide & Seal from Manthorpe Building Products, is the result of extensive research and development to ensure that plumbing engineers, specifiers and developers can maximise their time, increase their profits and significantly reduce call backs.
The new patented twin plate design works across the first and second fix stages meaning the pipework will be in the perfect position to connect to a radiator whilst eliminating the risk of kinking and chafing along the pipe as other trades work around it. The complete installation of the GRS-DUO can be achieved with just two simple screws, one on each of the mount plate and front plate, eliminating the need for plasterboard fixings.
The first fix mount plate incorporates integrated variable fix geometry, allowing the GRS-DUO to be easily installed with a variety of plasterboard and radiator offsets. Alternate fixing points have also been designed into the mount plate for multiple installation types, such as with blockwork, stud walls and mid-stud boards.
The second fix front plate sits flush with the wall with the single central fixing and creates a perfect air seal (in accordance with Building Regulations Standard Part L). Whilst additional secondary fixing points have been created ensuring that installers will always have a robust, simple solution to any installation detail.
