As demand for online specification tools increases, building products specialist Glidevale Protect has joined NBS Source, one of the leading single-source providers of product information for the built environment. On the platform, specifiers will find Glidevale Protect’s key ranges from its roofing and construction divisions, with comprehensive product specification data, technical literature and third-party certification documents.
This route will also enable specifiers to see a range of natural and hybrid ventilation products offered by Glidevale Protect’s sister company Passivent. The Passivent name is recognised for providing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions across all sectors for cooling and air quality, natural daylighting and the removal of moisture.
Using NBS Source allows specifiers to easily find, select and specify the products they need for their projects and works seamlessly with NBS Chorus, so that specifiers can add their chosen products from NBS Source directly into their specification.
Glidevale Protect and Passivent have also introduced a comprehensive range of building information modelling (BIM) objects for their products which are available to download from their product pages on NBS Source. Available as Autodesk Revit files, the BIM objects can also be downloaded directly from NBS’s sister platform, the NBS National BIM Library. All models meet the requirements of the internationally recognised NBS BIM Object Standard, giving specifiers the confidence that the models can be easily added to specifications.
