Parkside has announced a strategic partnership to strengthen engagement with Scotland’s architecture and design communities.
From 1 September 2021, Parkside will be working with Chris McGlennon of Stratis to provide the architecture, design and contract communities of Scotland with an extraordinary selection of tiles and first-class service. Stratis has been involved in many of the country’s high-profile landmarks, including the redevelopment of Glasgow’s Queen Street Station.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in the Scottish specification sector, the new partnership will enable Parkside to continue growth, strengthening activity in private and public sector projects, including office, hospitality and leisure, retail and housing.
Brian Linnington, managing director commercial, Parkside and Strata Tiles, says; “We have a clear ambition to become number one in the UK commercial tile market. Forming this new partnership with Parkside and Stratis is another move towards that goal. Under the leadership of Chris McGlennon, Stratis has become one of the foremost tile specification specialists in Scotland and has a long track-record in delivering for some of the country’s top architectural and construction projects. We’re delighted that Chris will be representing Parkside for the country and look forward to seeing it involved in some stunning projects.”
With Parkside, Stratis is ready to provide solutions for all types and scales of projects. This is achieved through a wide collection of floor and wall tiles for internal and external use, including high recycled content products; as well as specialist services including waterjet cutting, colour matching, bespoke digital print, and the sourcing of exclusive tiles to specific requirements.
“I’m excited to start this new journey with Parkside, says Chris McGlennon. “The architectural tile specialist has ambitious plans for the Scottish market, and I am delighted to represent it.”
Through the new working partnership with Stratis, specifiers in Scotland can now enjoy the full benefits of working with Parkside, bringing unique tile solutions that lift projects out of the ordinary.
