As the country begins to tentatively open up and things return to some kind of normality, our golfers have shown their enthusiasm to get out in the fresh air, meet people, forge new social and business relationships and continue to play the game they love.
Now in its 28th year, the schedule of our national tournament might have been paused, rejigged and extended but players from the very north of this island down to the southwest have persevered and progressed through their regional knock-out games to this, the final round.
These match-ups will decide those who’ll become finalist and join our sponsor, Marley Plumbing & Drainage, media partners and organisers for a splendid Grand Final now being held in June 2021 at the superb Carden Park Hotel and Golf Resort set in the glorious rolling parkland of Cheshire. As always the event will feature free golf, gala dinner and prize-giving along with complimentary overnight stay.
The Golf Classic would like to thank all those who’ve taken pert this year for their patience. We know from your correspondence that many of you have cherished the opportunity this national tournament offers, perhaps even more than in previous years. We would like to wish you all a prosperous future, good health and great golf. And, of course, we look forward to extending a warm welcome to our finalists at Carden Park! – The Golf Classic Team
