The winners of Construction Awards of Excellence, sponsored by principal sponsor Payapps, have been announced through the Awards special broadcast.
The first Awards covered work and achievements for the period January 2019 – May 2020 and all construction and building businesses in Great Britain were eligible to enter.
The finalists and winners were selected by an independent judging panel who considered all entries made across the eleven categories. Lord Andrew Stunell, Chair of the Judging Panel, commented: "The award nominations were of an exceptionally high standard and my fellow judges and I were left with extremely difficult decisions to make. All companies and individuals who have made it on to the shortlists and the winners should be very proud; they made quite an impression on the judges - some of the leading figures in the sector across the UK - with their expertise, commitment and innovation."
To surprise the winners, unlike other digital ceremonies the majority was live with each award being hand delivered live on camera throughout the ceremony (Compliant with COVID guidance).

The next Awards have been rescheduled for 2022 to ensure the Construction industry can celebrated together in person. This will cover projects and achievements of the Construction Industry for the period May 2020 onwards and will be held on 7 April 2022 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, London.
