UK Boxings’ flame retardant ‘FR’ sprinkler boxing is the most recent addition to the company’s range of durable pipe and fire sprinkler boxing solutions.
Manufactured from 12mm thick flame retardant Euroclass B compliant material, FR boxing is designed to provide a cost-effective solution for high rise flats and tower blocks where flame retardant casings for sprinkler pipework are specified.
FR sprinkler boxing is also FSC® chain of custody certified and available in both two-sided ‘L’ shaped and three-sided ‘U’ shaped profiles to give increased versatility when concealing sprinkler pipework installations.
Like other products in the UK Boxings’ range, FR sprinkler boxing has a white painted finish, as standard, which enables it to be easily cleaned when used in flats, landings and other public areas whilst providing a consistent finish to the sprinkler installation.
Supplied in standard 2400mm lengths, they can be easily cut to length and drilled to fit around the individual sprinkler heads, before securing using timber battens and screws, which makes them quick and simple to install whilst also enabling easy access for routine inspections.
