SE Controls has launched a 60 second animated video, which highlights the importance of smoke control compliance by illustrating best practice to ensure that the installation of smoke control systems within buildings is compliant to EN12101-2.
Aimed at those responsible for ensuring life safety within buildings across all sectors, the animation covers a number of key compliance issues including the protection of residents, the need for Declaration of Performance (DoP) certification and ensuring the fire service can do its job, while also highlighting the consequences of non-compliance.
Martin Oates, Director of Global Sales at SE Controls said: “As smoke control systems are among the most highly regulated parts of a building’s design, our latest animation to helps raise awareness of smoke control compliance in a creative, clear and informative manner.”
He added: “We have already collaborated with leading systems companies to develop a series of ‘Tested Solutions’ that are compliant with EN12101-2 and these are available on our website for registered users.
