We are delighted to announce entrance is open for the 2020 Golf Classic. Now in its 28th year the prestigious Golf Classic tournament remains a favourite calendar event attracting players from across mainland UK. As the only national golfing tournament, exclusively for those working in the construction industry, not only does it offer great golf, it is equally valued for the important networking and the new business opportunities it affords and the friendships forged.
Many of our players return each year to take part but it is always great to attract new participants to this always friendly but competitive tournament. Half price entry is available for those that introduce new teams to the tournament.

Taking Part
Entry is open to everyone in the construction industry. Entry costs just £46 per two ball team. Enter by the end of February, the tournament kicks off in March 2020. Teams compete through five knockout rounds, playing alternately at home or away venues regionally with green-fees being shared.
The Grand Final
The 2020 finalists, who have won their way through the five knock out rounds, will battle it out to be crowned the Golf Classic champions in early October. The final will be played on the Nicklaus-designed course at the fabulous Carden Park Hotel and Golf Resort, Cheshire, which was the winner of England’s Best Golf Hotel at the recent World Golf Awards. All finalists enjoy free golf, gala dinner, prize-giving and overnight stay.
Win Along the Way
Even if you don’t make it to the grand final there are lots of ways to win prizes throughout the competition. Share your anecdotes with us for a chance to win spot prizes in each round which include branded golf balls, caps and umbrellas. If you manage to get a Hole in One, you’ll stand a chance of competing in the final – even if your team has been knocked out.
How it works
The Golf Classic team handle the admin. and matching, leaving players to enjoy their golf. Entering couldn’t be easier. The tournament is open to those employed within the UK Mainland construction industry. Entries must arrive by the end of February and play tees-off in March 2020.
