With a unique U-shaped drainage channel as its signature feature, this cutting-edge design is precision engineered from aluminium and has a Euroclass A1 fire rating, making it fully compliant with the new building regulations which ban the use of combustible materials in balconies. The concealed drainage system sits discreetly beneath the gaps in the decking surface and directs rainwater away from the balcony, thereby avoiding water ingress to balconies below and any need for soffits or downpipes. It also restricts the view from above and below to enable total privacy for balcony occupants.

Neatdek HW is the latest addition to an acclaimed decking range which offers a choice of T-Bar grille profiles designed to combine a generous foot contact area with fast, efficient drainage. Neaco applies precision engineering to create a very finely-grooved surface, specifically developed to provide anti-slip performance in the direction of travel. Other options include Neaco’s original Neatdek design and Neatdek 188, a system which also features concealed drainage and a gap-free surface for safety underfoot in any type of footwear, including stilettos.
Neaco incorporates a patented swage-locked construction within the decking to provide a solution which is lightweight yet high in load-bearing capacity and excellent in spanning capability. As a result it requires less structural support, reducing construction time and labour and material costs. The systems provide maintenance-free durability which also reduces the lifecycle costs of a building. Aluminium is corrosive-free and has a recognised design life of at least 60-100 years.
All systems are now available with a choice of durable coatings which provide a more traditional aesthetic if required, including earthy colours and finishes which reflect the natural appearance of wood. The coating contains polyester resins cured with fit curing agents specially selected for their hard-wearing properties and superior resistance to UV radiation and outdoor weathering.
